This course is a continuation of the Bachelor in Heritage Preservation and allows students to access the profession of conservator-restorer, who manages the entire restoration site. On this basis, this role has the technical, practical and scientific responsibility for any intervention undertaken. It is also in charge of the commercially developing the workshop and ensuring that it is professionally recognised, in particular, through scientific publications. The qualification of Conservator-Restorer of Cultural Heritage is recognised as Level II in the French National Committee of Professional Certification (RNCP), according to the ministerial decree of May 17, 2018, published in the Official Journal on May 24, 2018. The Master in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage is also certified as by the ‘European Master’ by the European Accreditation Board of Higher Education. Students of the Master in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage are also eligible for the ERASMUS exchange programme and other bilateral exchange programmes.
