The second and third years of the Bachelor’s are equally organized around illustration skills, animation, and graphic design. These years train students in the mastery of communication and the development of narrative skills. Technical and professional skills are acquired in conjunction with creative development in order to be able to respond to commissioned work in the context of visual communication. A Comic Art specialisation is offered on the Marseille Campus, beginning in the second year. These skills then allow a specialisation in one of the following three degrees: the Master in Illustration & Comic Art, the Master in Animation & Motion Design, or the Master in Art Direction and Graphic Design. At the end of the undergraduate course, comprised of the preparatory year and two years of undergraduate studies, our students obtain the qualification of Project Designer in Design and Graphic Arts – Illustration/Animation specialisation. This is recognised as Level II in the French National Committee of Professional Certification (RNCP), according to the ministerial decree of May 17, 2018, published in the Official Journal on May 24, 2018.
