The Master’s in Fashion Artistic Direction is a two-year program that prepares students to become fashion designers and stylists capable of leading the artistic direction of a fashion house or creating their own brand by developing a cohesive creative universe.

The artistic director of a fashion house translates the brand's values across all creative production and ensures consistency among the various product lines. He may also create his own clothing brand.

Rhythm and Duration

This work-study program lasts 24 months and follows a 4/5 weekly schedule. The student is thus integrated into the daily operations of the host company while continuing to acquire specialized technical and creative skills that set them apart. This work-study period can be undertaken through various contracts: the professionalization contract, the alternating internship, or the apprenticeship contract.

Training Objectives

  • Be able to lead the artistic direction of a fashion house or create your own brand by developing a cohesive creative universe.
  • Master the entire production chain of a collection through an excellent understanding of constraints and the manufacturing process, as well as proficiency in prototyping and representation techniques.

  • Manage the processes involved in fashion creation projects.
  • Oversee communication and promote the developed design projects.

Pathways

This professionalizing program includes a mandatory immersion period in a company. The alternating rhythm allows for multiple access routes: – Apprenticeship contract, – Professionalization contract, – Initial training (with alternating internship). This program is also accessible within the framework of a VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience).

Prerequisites

Upon entry, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or a level 6 RNCP title corresponding to a total of 180 ECTS credits in the field of design. They will take an admission test during which they will present a portfolio of their personal, academic, and professional work.
