Costume Designer

Costume Designers conceive and create costumes for the entertainment world, whether a live or recorded show. They work from literary sources, and historical if need be. They work on every part of the costume - from accessories, to hairstyles, to wigs and more. This leads them to work with expert craftsmen and women, such as: feather workers, hatters, bootmakers, and many others. In France, Costumer Designers often have the professional status of ‘Intermittent du spectacle’.
