This course aims to reinforce what students have learned in their undergraduate studies, especially in fashion design, modelling and textile technology. All of this is built on semiological and sociological thinking (decoding of cultural codes and trends). The course also has complementary lectures in sourcing, production, marketing, branding, visual communication and brand identity, as well as thematic workshops (textile design, fashion photography, etc.). In Paris, this course is offered in French and English. The Master’s is recognised as Level 1in the French National Committee of Professional Certification (RNCP), according to the ministerial decree of January 20, 2014, published in the Official Journal on January 30, 2014. Students of the Master in Fashion Art Direction are eligible for the ERASMUS exchange programme and other bilateral exchange programmes.
