The Bachelor in Heritage Preservation is a rare and reputed training, which pursues two main objectives:
Preparing for the entry in the Master in Conservation-Restoration of Cultural Heritage (painting specialities, paper/graphic arts, ceramics & glass, archaeological objects).
Train for certain professions related to heritage restoration and the art market: preventive conservation officer, antique dealer, museum registrar, bookbinder, gilder, etc.
The guiding theme of this training is to learn the fundamentals of conservation and restoration. This allows students to comprehend cultural goods with a precise knowledge of the issues in valorising and conserving works, while mastering the fundamental ethical standards. At the end of the first semester, student can choose their specialisation among the three proposed.
