Knitwear Designer

Knitwear Designers are concerned with the stitches, not the fabric (knitted yarn, not woven). They make their own samples of material, which are then cut and assembled or knitted. They can then experiment with the yarn materials - juxtapose them and play around with the thickness, colours and patterns. Knitwear Designers are present throughout the product development, including the technical monitoring and cost.
