The Master in Conservation-restoration of Cultural Heritage trains students to become conservator-restorers of art pieces specialized in painting, paper and ceramics.

It follows the Bachelor in cultural heritage preservation and allows to access the function of conservator-heritage conservator who manages a whole site restoration. As such, he has technical, practical and scientific interventions. He also looks after commercial development of the workshop and participates in its professional recognition, including through scientific publications.

PROGRAM +

The Master in conservation-restoration of cultural heritage is based on 6 semesters and 48 weeks of internships including 12 weeks abroad.

Educational content is subject to changes as a result of school organizational requirements, and, or, implementation of State guidelines.

ADMISSION PROCESS +

Admission is based on an interview and the presentation of the applicant’s portfolio.

Only students who have obtained 180 ECTS credits in the field of cultural heritage preservation (painting, paper, and ceramics) may be admitted.

ACCREDITATIONS +

As per the ministerial decree of 11 January 2012, the title of conservator-restorer of cultural heritage is registered at Level II under the National Directory of Professional Certification.

The Master in Conservation-restoration of Cultural Heritage is also certified as a European Master’s degree by the European Accreditation Board of Higher Education. Admissions in the Master program are limited to students from the Bachelor in cultural heritage preservation or equivalent.
