The goal of this intensive year is to help our student-designers develop their creative identity whilst they envisage their study options within the various design and artistic creation sectors available.
This program is strictly based on the framework provided by the French Ministry of Higher Eduction.
As a complement, it also includes some interdisciplinary modules with a view to develop students’ autonomy as well as to help them define their creative project.

Baccalauréat or equivalent high school diploma based on individual assessment.
This course focuses on three main areas: drawing and artistic expression; design workshops; general and cultural modules.
International students may apply directly on our site’s dedicated page. We will be happy to assist them during this process.
After the Foundation year, students continue their studies in École de Condé by pursuing a Bachelor in Design, Illustration or Animation.
They may also integrate an architecture school or a Fine Arts school.
In Marseille and Toulouse, École de Condé associated with Axe Sud, offers a Foundation year in design which defers from the MANAA program.

The foundation year in applied arts – MANAA aims at helping student-designer developing their creative identity whilst they envisage their study options within the various design and artistic creation sectors available.
After the MANAA, students continue their studies in Ecole de Conde by pursuing a Bachelor in graphic design, spatial design, product design or fashion design. They may also integrate a Bachelor in illustration or film animation.
At the end of the year, students get 60 ECTS credits recognized by the European Accreditation Board of Higher Education Schools (EABHES)
